Broccoli and Cranberry Salad

This immediately became a favorite with my family!  I plan to serve it next week at our Thanksgiving meal.

Broccoli and Cranberry Salad

  • 6 cups broccoli flowerets (cut up broccoli heads)
  • 2 Tbsp. diced red onion
  • 1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 c. roasted sunflower seeds
  • 3/4 c. dried cranberries 


  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c. sugar (may use less to taste)
  • 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
Combine all salad ingredients in a bowl.  Combine dressing ingredients in a separate bowl and mix well.  Add to salad ingredients and stir gently.  Can be served immediately or refrigerate for later.
